Loading Search Results into Tableau
Heureka provides Tableau Workbooks for additional reporting and visualizations based on Heureka search results. Follow these steps to load search results into a Heureka provided workbook.
Run your search and download the search results CSV
- Create the search in Heureka for which you want to generate the reports and visualizations
- Once the search completes, go to the search results page and click the “Export to CSV” button on the top right section of the page.
- Once the CSV is ready for download, the Search Results tile on the same page will show a link labeled “Download CSV”. Click the link to download and save your CSV.
Load the CSV into the Tableau workbook by editing the data source
- Open the Heureka workbook using your version of Tableau.
- Navigate to the Data Source Tab and then right click on the data source name at the top and select "Remove".
- Select "Edit the connection" in the left pane and point to your Heureka-generated CSV file. To increase performance, remember to use the "Extract" vs "Live" connection.
